How about allowing you to pilot your own spaceship
It would be quite cool if one had the ability to fly around the map in your own spaceship. BF4 is a mega multiplayer game with players flying their own planes strafing those on the ground. It would grand to fly into battle rather than drop into the game.

At least add the feature to maneuver your ship when it shows you flying from point A to point B, that seems like a manageable patch

While I think adding the ability to fly your ship around the map wouldn't be a good idea, I'd like to see space battles and segments where you can pilot your ship for sure. As far as I know this won't be in the game, but it'd be nice to see a DLC or a patch adding it in the future.
