I was trying to check out if I could grab a Ghost edition at my local Gamestop but sadly I've found out that the Ghost edition is gone everywhere practically. I even read that Walmart was refunding people due to limited supply issues.

Now I'm gonna ask the rest of you do you think they should increase the amount of Ghost Editions, because if your like me who had to save his cash from different paychecks or just low on funds at the time you know you got the bum rap for it.
If you say no please post why I would like to know your reasoning, same to those who vote yes.

I dont care if its ghost edition or not as long as i get the ghost figurine sooner or later :3

Spare a thought for the poor Traveler working tirelessly to conjure up our little friend!

Edited by xEPCx: 7/31/2014 9:52:28 AMIncreasing the amount of Ghost editions wouldn't make em so special in terms of value personally. But everyone would get the neat toy (ಠwಠ). By making less they allow the consumers to have the value of it instead of making a bazillion that everyone will have BAHAHA uNot SPESHUL NUMORE!!!! Need to check my gamestahp tomorrow since there's not a lot of FPS players who stray from Call of Duty in my... area... yeah...

All the Ghost editions are sold out and most Limited editions are aswell. Looking for limited editions? Go here: http://www.game.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/HubArticleView?hubId=208291&articleId=208292&catalogId=10201&langId=44&storeId=10151

I remember how they still sold the Halo 3 legendary editions on store shelves for somewhat over a week after the game released. I don't know if I want to encourage Bungie/Activision to make more or to not.
-
I have mine, so I don't care. :P
-
Nope sorry man limited run
-
As long as i can olay destiny i'm happy
-
That's why it's a limited edition. (Not talking about the actually limited edition) the quantities of the ghost edition are very low most likely because Activision and bungie are trying to test out the waters to see if the hype of this game truly is out there and not just on the internet. And apparently it is seeing as they sold out of them. I myself purchased the limited edition because I'm not into the collectable toys you get with collectors editions, never really liked them plus they would just take up space for me.
-
1. It will feel special if it's limited 2. Shows that bungie cares about the fans as they could make loads of $$$ if they made more 3. You should've pre-ordered when you had the chance so because people can't get it they complain here
-
I say no, and for a very selfish reason. I have mine and want it to be truly limited. It is the step above Limited Edition and I'm beyond happy to have the pre order for it. I don't approve of the scalpers taking up limited slots of the edition to make money off of it however, I'm with everyone on that part. I know I'm being selfish but a Truly limited edition would be fantastic

Edited by Doc SoCal: 7/24/2014 6:29:26 PMThey may simply not exist, the run was what it was. Why are these threads so littered with its not my fault and I am a victim? Oh wait, I know why. Heck folks with 2MIL to drop STILL have to go on a waiting list for a new Veyron? Why? Limited availability. What does this mean? Life is not fair, the sooner people realize that and develop coping skills over rationalizations, life gets better. Good luck.

I don't care if everyone has one, I want my ghost :( and I'm sick of seeing people selling their preordered ghost edition eBay
-
Absolutely yes. I posted a similar topic. It's not right that scalpers are taking advantage of their fellow gamers by selling multiple copies on eBay for twice as much as retail or more. I will not help those lowlifes make money. The money should go to Bungie from all the fans who want to purchase this edition - they should increase their supply of the Ghost Edition and stop those scalpers dead in their tracks.
