Why do Warlocks hate Hunters?
So, I'm playing Destiny as a Warlock and I noticed that some of my gear had very 'anti-hunter' descriptions. One said something along the lines of Hunters not being able to shoot straight and other said Warlocks will never 'cede their position' to the Hunters. Anyone know why there's bad blood between the two, or if there's tension between all the classes, or did I just pick a class that happens to be really pissy?
EDIT: So there is some tension between each of the classes. The shit talk mainly goes on between the Warlocks and Huntards. The Huntards and Titans also have a few jabs at each other. Titans and Warlocks seem to get along.

Its cause deep down the warlocks will always know the hunters are better, so they have to pretend otherwise or their egos will die.

5 RepliesIt's like the Wii U, PS4, and Xbox One war. The PS4 is the Hunter because it is obviously better than the Xbox One, which is the Warlock. Then there's the retarded Wii U as the Titan which the Warlock and Hunter create a mutual alliance together to destroy the stupid players who pick the Titan.

Not bad blood. Friendly competition to make one better. This is no different than when I played football in high school. We were always talking smack about the O line. And the O line was always talking smack about the defense. But if somebody else talked smack about the team, we would band together. That's how it is in competitive atmospheres.

I wouldn't say either has bad blood or is being pissy. Think of it as a sibling scenario. They're poking fun at the other one just because. Although, I haven't seen anything about Titans in any of the Hunter/Warlock descriptions. And none of the Titan descriptions mention them negatively.

Hunters are the skilled survivors. They feel most at home in dangerous places and no one is more precise in the art of the kill. Titans are just that. They're juggernauts in massive armor ready to plow through whatever gets in their way either through superior firepower or the pure strength of their fists. So you see...we're all just a bunch of badasses.

It's because Hunters are bad ass survivalists and heavy drinkers whereas Warlock's are scholars and deep thinkers. They are the complete opposite to each other so they, naturally, they have become rivals

It's vice-versa too, I've seen some Hunter armor saying this is meant for two things : protection and looking better than warlocks, something along those lines.

I think it is because Warlocks are scholars of the Traveler and Hunters are stragglers out in the wild using what they find to get by. I think of it like Royalty and peasants but maybe not that extreme.

4 RepliesOnly Titans and Warlocks are group orientated with their subclasses. Hunters are not group based and not a class I would choose to take with me in end game raids. All titans and warlocks, they are all you need.
