Hunters knife and melee separate buttons?
Just an idea but what if hunters throwing knife was mapped to R1 and melee was mapped to circle, which means crouch could be mapped to r3.

Maybe it could be just the same button, but you hold it down for special melees, and a simple push for basic melee.
