Each class has their own calling. Warlocks are scholars and magic wielders, always curious about the world around them...and how to bring that world crashing down. Hunters are the skilled survivors. They feel most at home in dangerous places and no one is more precise in the art of the kill. Titans are just that. They're juggernauts in massive armor ready to plow through whatever gets in their way either through superior firepower or the pure strength of their fists. So you see...we're all just a bunch of badasses.

Titans are the military, warlocks are the scholars and the hunters are deserters.
-
Hunters being deserters doesn't make any sense?
-
They chose to live outside the wall. They are not protecting it nor are they learning about the traveler. This is before the game started
-
They still fight for the Traveler and the people of the Last City. Which doesn't make them deserters?
-
Hunters are the one who find all the tech that everone else uses. They are the patches of light in the distance, surrounded by the enemy but fighting non the less. While the mighty Titans keep the wall safe and the Warlocks hide behind it.
