True, but not having to stop moving to obtain a high jump is far more versatile and eventually this can be upgraded to a triple jump. As funny as it sounds, one big reason I like the Hunter so much is because his jump mechanics are so much better. This is my opinion of course :p

I personally found it useful in the forgot shore. Near the lv 20 area, when you go to check on an amplifier in campaign, I was able to sneak behind the fallen and even found a chest by jumping up a pillar. My friend, a hunter could not jump high enough while I, a warlock could. While I agree it is not incredibly useful, it does have its uses.
