Women Gamers: female or male Guardian character?

I play all 3 class and all are females. Just thought that since most games have protagonist males, it would be cool to run around and wrecking havoc on the enemies as females. Plus, this is a live game so it is just awesome to see other female soldiers on the field, which are most likely female gamers.
