Confirmed No Transfer
Deej has confirmed that there will be no transfer.

Now some of you may say that this may be just for the Iron Banner items but, let me ask you this.
Why would the refuse to move the limited time hard to earn exclusives that don't give you a (immediate) boost in- the game?
Also the permanent rewards he is talking about are the Beta items avalible at 2 pm PST on Saturday.

Don't care if it wipes or not, even though absolutely nothing about that was mentioned. They promised permanent rewards, he was simply stating Iron Banner rewards were not "the permanent rewards we've promised" but said nothing about losing all items etc. Etc.

2 RepliesWell, i guess that answers the question on everyone's minds. Commence whining and pre-order cancelation rants in 3...2...1... (Doesn't affect me one bit. I'll glady start fresh, plus PS3/4 get the Vanguard Armory at launch anyway. No harm done.)

He said that the iron banner rewards arent the permanent rewards they said (I.e. Emblem) it does not say that they are or arent permanent

He said the iron banner times were not the permanent rewards they were mentioning. I'm not expecting anything besides some ascetic stuff.

I dont know why this was an argument... It was obvious when they said permanent rewards on the 26th that everything else would be wiped.

6 RepliesNothing is confirmed at all. Bungie has not stated anything about transferring or not transferring items. They are still undecided so this is speculation on a quote, not confirmation

6 RepliesI just wish they'd have said earlier, granted it is a beta but it was said it hadn't been decided if progress would carry over or not, so you can't really blame people for sinking a bit of time into it hoping it would, an answer should have been given before now rather than keep people hoping.

3 RepliesThis doesn't confirm that character transfers aren't going to happen. "Rewards" aren't characters. That said, I'd actually prefer "rewards" to transfer rather than my character. My guns/equiptment is way more important to me than my stats.

2 RepliesHe did not just admit to no transfer in that quote all he said was that this second and third session of the iron banner are not the PROMISED permanent rewards. Bungie did say multiple times that they had secret rewards coming and the iron banner was one of them. Now im not saying that anything will transfer over but it was not confirmed in that post by what he said.
