PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4. This is just too smooth and individual for me. While I guess Xbox made turns in their names. From Xbox To Xbox360 To Xbox One. Don't see relations on this names, so coming to the conclusion that you simply fail in thinking.

The worst thing about the Xbox one is now having to constantly refer to the first Xbox as 'original Xbox' or 'first Xbox' only Microsoft could screw up something as basic as a numbering policy.
