Xbox and PS users put aside your hate for one another, for now we have a common enemy! Why the heck did Bungie only give us access to the moon yesterday?! The crew of the Apollo 11 mission got early access in 1969! I'm SERIOUSLY considering cancelling my pre-order...

considering canceling your pre order for one mission on the moon which was quick. well. see ya never in september!

You do know that 1) the threads name is just wrong. Entitled? It was open to everyone. They made an announcement well beforehand. I do mean, well beforehand. If you were really wanting to know all the details. You would have kept up. Just check Twitter. Takes two seconds, so the excuse "I don't have time to know this stuff" is mute. I don't have or use Twitter and knew. 2) Who cares if it was a 2 hour event. It was a quick sneak peak. Its not their fault you missed it. No one was entitled. You just missed your chance. Also. Really? That will make you consider canceling a preorder? Bungie giving you a special sneak to new level system(moon)? Giving you the privileged of seeing something early? That was for you. To boost hype. Don't be so sore cause you missed a chance. If they makes you want to not get the game. Then you never cared for it in the first place. You're a lacky player. Playing for the sole purpose of mindless indulgence. Story is what matters and they gave you more than they said they would. Don't complain dude. Thanks, Bungie. Keep up the awesome stuff. Beta rocked!

My penis floated on the moon, it was amazing....

I canceled my pre-order after the Columbia incident. To everyone who had to work and couldn't go to the moon: could be worse you could be Apollo 10. Sent to the moon but not allowed to even touch it. No one remembers you and you even broke a universal speed record.
-
That was a limited event?! I didn't even know, I just got invited to the mission and accepted. lol
-
I got to go to that single moon mission, and it was awesome! I went into Hellmouth even, it was pretty cool, although the boss wasn't there. Still very epic
-
-
The crew didn't get as much features as us.
-
Find. Kill. T-Bag.
-
Yea I feel like they didnt want the character to talk much or the ghost for the beta because when they talk in the released game the ghost tells him things as he goes that would spoil some things for people in the beta. Idk just my idea
-
It wasn't even a great mission it was like 10 minutes long
-
Did anyone read the original post?

Edited by Spetznaz38: 7/27/2014 2:27:02 PMShut down the Bungie forums...for a champion has emerged this day.
-
The amount of morons in this thread is too damn high! To the point that I had to come back and comment again...
-
I have been a Bungo fan since combat evolved came out. 3 years as a member on the forums, but i have actually been posting since '06. I got access to the moon. don't know why, but i think I have earned my stripes. When Bungie tells you to be online at a certain time, you do it. no questions asked.

That mission kinda sucked anyway bro... Except the krota doors opening.

Edited by NeckPUNCHattack: 7/28/2014 4:01:44 AMreally? cancel your pre-order over missing a 2 hr mission window?? good.... cause with less people like you in the game when it comes out, I'll enjoy it more! EDIT: And by the way... maybe half of the people who see the joke in this OP's post and the other half that don't... there is so much of this going around right now FOR REAL that it fuels the rage of the people who actually missed it.... this guy is only creating more anger with the young kids who don't understand sarcasm, which in turn, make them create posts like this, but they ACTUALLY mean it when they say they're gonna cancel their pre-orders. I don't want someone like this starting rage fires amongst the community since many kids don't understand the joke, so yea.... my statement still stands and I think ppl like this should either be more constructive or leave and not joke about a subject that MANY ppl are furious about it atm.

The worst part about the story is that in the beta you hear your character talk about twice. You just woke up after being dead for who knows how many years, and yet your character couldn't give less of a crap. You're ghost says to run you run, the travelers speaker tells you they need help, so you do pointless missions. When does your character start to care about HIS past. I want to feel a connection to my character. Like in Halo Reach when Emile died I almost screamed but was glad he went out fighting. Like if some AI controlled character died in this game it would probably take me a few missions to even notice. Destiny NEEDS! more dialogue. (Btw the reason it says I haven't played the game is because I played on my other account)

cry me a river dude. I got to the moon guess what, not that big a deal short and uneventful
-
Omg that's awesome ahahahahHhhH

Edited by OutHouse: 7/28/2014 3:30:49 AMWas announced for everyone to be on at 2 for special emblem and moon mission. Was the peak of the beta...
-
That's Hilarious, truly...
-
It was just one mission and trust me, you didn't miss much.
-
I'm noticing a trend in all the missions: Shoot the same enemies and kill a bunch of them. Then listen to Dinklage talk about some stuff, that leads to more shooting the same enemies.

Edited by Fos Kuvol: 7/28/2014 3:21:46 AMWelp... the troll got me... Great.
