On Twitter Ghost retweets a link from MoreConsole that's linked to reddit page talking about a Bungie employee stating that there is "22 story missions, 11 crucible maps, 6 strikes, 4 exploration areas, & 1 raid at launch". it goes on to talk about each location being about the size of Halo:Reach. I just wanted to know you guy's take on this. Do you feel like Bungie over-promised? Still excited? Thinking about canceling preorders? Is Reddit a truly reliable source? I want to hear your thoughts on the Beta, recent news, past news etc.
Either I'm blind or biased, being that Halo is my favorite series, but I'm not accepting that quite yet. I've read so many other articles talking about so many more areas until I hear it straight from Bungie i'll continue to keep my hopes up. But maybe with them claiming that each area is so huge it won't be so bad. Maybe we haven't seen all of old Russia yet. Maybe most of the other places will come along in the expansion packs (That's a lot of maybe's lol). Bungie also discussed that the level progression in the Beta was accelerated & I'm fine with that. I enjoy grinding it out a bit in RPGs. Having to re-fight a boss once or twice and doing some raids over a few times is part of the RPG culture I believe. I personally am still excited for Destiny, still excited to explore, and still have a bit of blind and/or biased faith in Bungie :)

Ya I would only rely on what Bungie has to say
