Why can't I prone?
I think it's pretty silly that you can't lay down. Pretty much the only shooter that you can't.
Shouldn't need to explain the benefits of being able to lay down.

Yeah the feature would be cool in its own right, but how often would you actually use it?

9 RepliesYou can't lay down in any Halo, goldeneye and so many more incredible games. This game is like Halo, and it is the Halo community that will be playing it for a looooooong time to come and it's the Halo community that will appreciate it. Long after all the cod kids ditch it for the next installment of call of doodie (aka madden of the FPS world). You just don't understand the skill in the way you can move in Halo. Prone is for games like Battlefield. And even those horrendous clones of cod 4.

As you can see, people associate prone with that kids game CoD. Fair enough. Destiny isn't about sitting in one spot, though. When I played the beta, there were very few people camping in one spot, and they were easily killed. The game is about mobility, and it keeps it fast paced. Honestly, going prone is the opposite of that, and I'm glad it's not in the game.

Going prone is annoying do use and deal with. Keep it in COD. This is destiny. Real snipers just crouch. ;)

Okay you expect to see a warlock,hunter,or Titan laying down. That would look silly and be annoying as hell. Your trying to recreate battlefield and cod in a Halo like game. STOOOOOOOPPP!! You can go prone all you want in aw and hl so be happy with those and leave Destiny FOREVER!!!!!
