I agree totally. For an mmo style game to have so few character customizations is kind of odd. And personally I hate that you have to buy shaders just to alter how your gear looks. I love the system DCUO has where you collect styles to use and it doesn't matter what armor you actually have on. You still have the stat changes, but you can use any style you've collected.
