Not quite this noticeable, but gives a decent idea to what I'm referring to.
As someone who thoroughly enjoyed the Beta, I figured I should add in some feedback regarding the loot system.
I get the randomized scaled loot drop. Very Diablo sans over-random stat rolling. The only thing that was off-putting was that sometimes.. it was rather difficult to SEE the loot. Simple solution to this would be to add a glow effect that acts as sort of an eye-level beacon. Not overly in your face, just something that I can go, "Oh hey, forgot about that one." *yoink* "Good to go!" instead of just completely missing it, or even more annoyingly, running around every corpse acting like I'm looking for Bin Laden. Ammo drops are sufficient, don't really need those to stick out more than they already do. Just suggesting a more noticeable system to tell players that something of relevance is buried under those enemy corpses or rolled out of sight.
Secondly, in regards to PVP, a ONE-HIT-KILL MELEE to the back. What was that called? Oh yeah, an assassination, and I'm not referring to assassination animations. Especially in regards to your PVP quests that involve getting a certain number of kills from behind. My first thought, assassination. So what do I do? I punched a fool not looking at his radar in the back. What did he do? Turned and shotgunned me in the face. Hilarious, yet what? Bungie, right? Halo? I don't know. Forget about the ANIMATIONS, I just want assassinations. Animations are for casuals. Assassinating four people in a row one after the other in a few short seconds is better.
On a side note, Titan supercharged melee is a one-hit kill correct? Why isn't the Throwing Knife a one-hit kill? Takes more skill than just punching someone, but I digress.
