The Actual Reason Behind Destiny's Logo

Not mine, Here's the original [url=http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/2bpgny/destiny_logo_explained/]reddit post[/url]. Just wanted to know if this is the actual reason behind it or just a coincidence. Would be awesome if Bungie commented on this.
