No. I don't know what you think is normal but furries being part of the few professional protectors of the last population of humanity seems inappropriate.
If you want cat ears, look for games in Japan.

It seems you can't tell the difference between furries and nekomimi... Next time do some research before you post so you don't look like an idiot. Furries = Fully anthropomorphic characters, A.K.A animals with human characteristics. Nekomimi or Kemonomimi Humans with animal ears and or tails. Very different.

I get what your saying does it really matter

Edited by xlostpunkfoundx: 7/29/2014 3:34:38 PMHaha... This reminded me of the scene in the Kevin Smith movie 'Chasing Amy', where they are discussing sexuality in the record store: "Gay or straight, ugly is still ugly" -Hooper X. While the name Virgil used might be incorrect, his point is still valid. Defenders of humanity wearing cat ears doesn't seem very fitting to the cannon that Bungie has presented so far. :-)
-
I am not defending it either I was just pointing the difference between one and the other, now animal ears in destiny would look out of place.
-
I know...I was just amused. :-)
-
When people don't know (or care enough) to know the difference between two very similar things and you point it out and call them an idiot, it doesn't make you look clever, it makes you look smug and pretentious.
-
I'm not sure who looks like an idiot here.... Believe when I say: for most people on the planet it's not "very different"... maybe people with fur suits and/or cat ears are very different, but I try to stay tolerant... ^^
It seems you can't tell the difference between furries and nekomimi... Next time do some research before you post so you don't look like an idiot.
Some would argue that knowing the difference is what makes you look like an idiot.
-
Nope, I am just informed. Posting without even knowing what you are talking about makes you look like an idiot.
-
And bashing people because of their lack of knowledge make you look like a -blam!-.
-
I see what your saying, but only someone who cares about the differences between
furries and nekomimi
are going to think someone is an idiot for not understanding the differences between the two. It's totally cool to correct them, but to be all smug about it? Well, it'll get a chuckle from the rest of us at least.
-
Well im happy you had fun
-
Sometimes, wearing car ears does too. Sometimes
-
It does; I am not saying I agree or I like it all I am saying is that Furries =/= Nekomimi
-
Takes one to know one ;)
-
-
Yeah. Also, your comment taught me something that I wasn't aware of, and wasn't simply a flame comment. Way to pass on information, that way I don't sound like an idiot later for sayin the same thing haha
-
I guess my reply was a bit aggressive but yeah its good to know the difference between one and the other,
-
It's on the same scale as furries, just down the scale. My point still stands, it's still inappropriate.
-
How is it inappropriate ?

Edited by VlRGlL0: 7/29/2014 3:48:23 PMImagine it. You are living in the the last city on Earth, after humanity has suffered crippling blows from its enemies and is near extinction. But there is hope, in the Guardians, they were chosen by the Traveler to wield its light as a weapon and push back your enemies, defeat the Darkness, and reclaim Humanity's worlds. The fate of the entire species depends on them. And one of them is wearing cat ears.
A child is upset and a civilian ponders why a furry is a Guardian. The guardian quickly becomes upset at the notion that they are a furry and smugly points out the difference.
-
Dude you're making me want cat ears even more
-
I would say out of place, not inappropriate. I know they pretty much mean the same thing, but people are always nitpicking you know? They definitely would look weird and kinda ruin the epic feel of seeing all the bad ass guardians walking around the tower
