It's Bungie's way of adding some flavor to the different classes - you're not only different based on your abilities, but each class has it's distinct personality. Hunters are more down-to-earth and think Warlocks are snobs, while us Warlocks look down on them for being sloppy and not as magically potent. It's all in good fun!
