If someone goes hey I don't like gay people. They instantly get beat to death by groups of gays and gay supporters, but are they wrong. A lot of people see being gay as wrong because to some it just repulsives them. Which is understandable. I don't know about you but the thought of being with another man kinda makes me cringe. So I could understand why they would dislike them being gay. My second reason was gonna be religion but that is invalid. Let's look at the #1 gay hater. Christians. If all sins are equal then doesn't that mean that you're just as bad as a homosexual because we all sin. Of course just because you dislike the gay lifestyle that gives you no right to treat them differently. Being gay is/isn't a choice. There are those who have hormonal imbalances in the brain and body which can cause someone to be a homosexual. I suppose one could say they are free from judgment. But I don't understand how some choose to be homosexual. It boggles me. Could someone explain, preferably if you have personal experience.

"Bigotry is the state of mind of someone who, as a result of their prejudices, treats or views other people with fear, distrust or hatred" Definition of a bigot, and prejudice for those who don't actually know. what you don't seem to realize Flood is that in all this political rallying for the pro gay movement, you, and everyone behind it are becoming the "animals" that you're trying to eliminate, you're enforcing conformity to your views while preaching diversity. I personally have nothing against this, but I'm looking at this from an outside point of view, one less biased. I've been affected by both ends of the spectrum, helping families come back together after one person from one side severs ties completely, being born and raised of purely Christian family, I've experienced both sides with an open look to each side's argument. I've been to multiple pro LGBT rallies, listened in on speakers for their side, but I've also spoken directly to some leaders on the Anti gay Marriage side, and guess what? BOTH sides had some wonderful, and completely true arguments, and the people themselves were wonderful people, and great speakers, they were well grounded in their morals and thoughts of the matter, and seemed willing to DIE for their causes, but that is NOT the way to solve this problem, acting selfish and focusing on the needs of one group won't cut it and solve the problem for good. To be honest, both sides are wrong, they're both hateful, bigoted, and prejudiced towards the other side, they're just painted in a different shade of black. what needs to happen, is one point, one area where both sides meet, and talk out EVERYTHING, get to know the other side, that's the only way that this whole thing will end well. that's the only way that an actual compromise will work. whatever side you're on, actually LOOK at the other person's perspective instead of missing the point and disregarding what they say as "bullshit."
