"WHAT IS THE REEF?" [quote]When the darkness arrived there was mass panic. Many humans fled to the ends of the world in an effort to escape this perilous fate. Those that fled returned different. These things, these "Awoken", realize that the world is greater then merely 'Dark' and 'Light'. A few Awoken went back to Earth, ready to stop fleeing, the others settled in an Asteroid belt located behind Mars, harboring a hatred for the Earth dwellers (especially Earth Awoken). The Reef Awoken are now ruled by a relentless and powerful Queen who provides safety and unity to survive these dark times. [b]What is "The Reef"?[/b] The Reef is a more hostile social hub that operates very similarly to the tower. The camera is third person, but your helmet will remain on. [b]What can I do there?[/b] You have some important things to accomplish when you visit the depths of the Reef: -Accept Bounties to earn the Queen's favour. Bounties will largely consist of killing the Queen's many enemies (Example: "Kill Rixis ArchonSlayer") -The Awoken are the gatekeepers to a lot of arcane knowledge, you'll need the Queen's favour to reach the Black Garden -The Reef features a "psuedo-faction" that operates just like the City factions. You wield a class item to earn XP, then spend the XP on exclusive weapons, gear, emblems, and shaders. All of these rewards are purple and feature the Crown of the Queen. [b]Qwerty Notes:[/b] This is my favorte area. The deep purples are great, Awoken are my favorite species, and the Queen is an interesting character. "The Crow" is the Queen's right hand man, and he was featured in 2013 Trailer saying "Why is the city breathing down my neck?"[/quote]
