It's likely you've never met someone with such a deep-seeded commitment to preserving the game, who operates with some sort of moral code when playing. This completely unexpected mindset, seems to have you all in a tizzy. The lot of you didn't even entertain the idea that something like tebagging could be seen as offensive, childish, or simply undesirable behavior, and instead jumped straight on the defensive, with responses like "it's just part of the game, "it's all in good fun," and "it's a gesture of goodwill." These are just defense mechanisms - attempts to justify your actions, rather admit to any form of validity in my claims. The only butthurt one's here, seem to be you guys - lashing out and poking fun at someone who just denounced your playstyle and in-game behavior as unacceptable and undesirable, and someone who actively takes steps to avoid these people.
