All of the Guardians in Destiny look so similar in their body types.
The idea of having a few very reasonable preset body-types (working much like the face selection) sounds like a good idea. Just things like slight proportion changes and height differences. Legends can come in many shapes and sizes, after all. Anyone with me on this? Or do you think that armor gives enough silhouette variation on its own?

Small, medium, large. It's not hard and is done often in games similar to this. Add this feature already! Aside from not having a character creation feature period, Destiny has the most lackluster character creation I've ever had the displeasure of using in any game ever. You can't even turn your character to see how goofy some of those heads and cosmetics make you look.

Age, i want to be old!
-
Bump.
-
Females just need to be smaller, more figured, and more dainty. Men need beards. Problem solved.
-
Yeah lets have midgets, anorexic/bulimic, husks, BBWs, and homoerotic body types. I want mine to be a portly leather daddy guardian.
-
I imagibe when a Ghost reconstructs your body on remaining DNA and matter, they don't think about what your BMI was in life. THEREFORE, Ghosts give you the perfect warrior body over your fat slob gamer stereotype body. Rejoice, fellow Guardians!
-
Age too. Like each preset face has an age meter that you can adjust. For exo's it would be a rust meter. Maybe I want to be a rusty magical robot.
-
+1 sounds like a very reasonable demand

Bungie stated that the character creation will be more in depth in the final version so I'm pretty sure you'll get this
-
Good idea
-
It could ruin PvP a really short dudes/skinny is going to be a lot harder to hit then a tall/muscular, good idea though. The only way this would work is if in PvP everyone was set to a baseline height and weight
-
Little late for that kind of change but it would be cool to get the option for taller, shorter, or to have a pot belly. Haha

Edited by Mandingo: 8/7/2014 3:35:17 PMMale Hunter vs Female Hunter Good Luck with that... but it seem he gain a little weight but I wonder .... Female are "thin" do they have a smaller hitbox than male ?
-
If height were option it would be a game changer. A shorter person would be harder to get crit hits on crucible.
-
I could see this being an issue in PvP with smaller hit boxes and shit, every one who's cheap would be making the smallest character
-
I wanna be a today sized guardian! Bring it on so I can kick ass as the little guy!
-
The main problem with different body sizes is coding the hitboxes on characters. So this most likely won't happen. :(

All the yes.

I agree. VtxR - PS3

It's a good idea. Give us that extra bit of customization, just a little bit more personality for out characters.
