Let's try and lighten up the forums a little bit, shall we?
Tell us all the story of how your Guardian died! Their final moments..
What were they doing? What were they thinking?
So to get the ball rolling...
MY Guardian died after trying to get it on with that big ol' handsome Fallen, y'know, the one that jumped on the car?
Yeah.. needless to say it didn't end well.
TL;DR. Don't spank a fallen.
-
My guardian kicked the Purple Ball of the Tower... And just died instantly
-
Boredom. Sitting in the Tower too long. Probably find his mummified body on the rail.
-
My Guardian's glider shut down while too high in the air so he fell on the ground and broke his neck.
-
Probably an SQL Statement.
-
Ebola
-
He went a bit too deep into the Hellmouth and met your mother.
-
He was an exo with a cape.

Were they ever really alive? Or just figments of imagination?
-

Mine died trying to jump their sparrows over Old Russia....

My Titan didn't die. He's still dead. The experiences he cognitively saw was all a vision from The Traveler shown to him while his light dwells in limbo. A vision of the journey to come. The last words he heard from The Traveler after the glorious vision ended was "in a months time, your true journey begins. Sleep well, Guardian. It'll be the last true rest you'll have for a long time." He now waits for his Ghost to bring him back to this world...this time, for real.

He drowned swimming in pink
-
My titan hulk smashed the darkness, sadly he rolled a 1 and slipped on a banana peel into a bottomless pit where he somehow found the bottom

My Warlock was sent to investigate some unusual movements with the Hive in Old Russia. He spent two days stalking and observing, and finally discovered that the Hive had a weapon that had set its sights on the Last City. My Warlock sure as heck wasn't going to let them fire it. He warned his superiors at the Tower, but suddenly saw Hive Acolytes charging up the cannon. He had to act then. He tried to get as close as possible to the weapon, but there were just too many Hive. His ammo was depleted, the Light in him was exhausted from him using his grenades and supers so much, and he was greatly wounded. He had his Ghost call his ship, and once it came he quickly went into orbit. However, instead of heading toward the Tower, he turned right back around and aimed himself at the weapon. Needless to say, that cannon did not fire that day, and it never will any other day.

My guardian was at the tower watching in horror as those around him started to disappear so he had his ghost retreat him back in time to start over from the start to find a way to prevent this from happing again.
-
All Hell was breaking loose, and he was right in the eye of the storm.
-
Mine tried catching the purple ball as it was hit off the edge of the tower. That idea went downhill fast

As my hunter stood amongst his proud fireteam, he gave a speech worthy of kings then proceeded to raid the fallen's territory. they fought hard and long but alas as his love was in harm's way he gave his life to save her....but it wasn't enough he had taken plasma rounds to the head only to realize in his last breath, his race, the guardians, were facing their doom. But alas do not worry for their story will continue....soon.

As he was roaming the tower grounds looking for a dance partner. My guardian began to feel a slight pain and burn in his fingertips. Alarmed he began to inspect his fingers looking for the origin of his discomfort. Poor him, his finger began to dissipate into the open air pixel by pixel. Causing large amounts of pain and utter agony to him. His legs began to do the same causing him to fall to the ground in a writhing mass of pain and disbelief. Other guardians run to his aid at the sound of his shouts for a mercy bullet, but to no avail since the tower absolutely abolishes the use of firearms within its walls. The guardians watch in horror as he becomes nothing more then a twitching torso. His last words were.... My body was not ready, and see you starside. He lives on into this day in the memories of all who have seen and chatted with him. May he finally rest in the stars.

The darkness was closer than we thought. It sent out a warning blast that decimated every gaurdian. The tower is unprotected and the darknesses forces are moving fast. We must rebuild our ranks and take back what was once ours!

I still see mine.
