If you get this message, I'm most likely dead now. I was with my fireteam in Old Russia and we were exploring the Cosmodrome. We were ambushed by large waves of Hive; it was way too many for my fireteam to handle. I've never seen so many Thralls in my life. I know that we are not all gonna make it out of here alive, but I want someone to make it, so I'm gonna sacrifice myself, it's the only way to save someone. I hope that one day, we can push the Darkness back. I might not be alive to see that day, but I pray it comes. Hell, who knows, our [i]Destiny[/i] might end with death, for all of us. Maybe there is no way to win. If so, I want my friends to live longer than I did. They'll sure as hell put up a bigger fight. It was an honor serving the Vanguards. See you starside Guardians, I hope they make it out alive.

Edited by Carlo: 8/12/2014 11:48:48 AMI was in your fireteam, but soon after you sacrificed yourself, the remaining two (me and another guardian) were cornered by a Devil Walker. Needless to say, we used everything we could, but the hive and the Devil Walker were too much too handle. Gathering my remaining energy to face that armoured giant, i ran towards it getting shot multiple times, but my titan armor hold the damage. Therefore, i jumped in the air and used the last amount of energy to use the strongest Fist of Havok i could, punching that Devil Walker right in his giant helmet. The explosion was so devastating that launched me towards a wall, creating a huge crater. Now, my level 8 armor was completely destroyed, and my body was full of burns because of such explosion. By that time, the remaining guardian already escaped, and i could crack a smile before dying, knowing that our fellow partner had made it out alive. Yes, we died, but we became legend.
