I was gonna say people have been doing this with a marker on the screen for years, but the video covered that. Most devs have gotten wise to this though and made hip firing inconsistent. In gears of war hip firing with the gnasher never hit the same area consistently. Technically though since it does utilize power from the console, this could be considered an unlicensed third party peripheral, which they can ban you for using. But good look ever proving that someone used it.
