I would hope mine would never break. Revolvers are highly reliable under everyday conditions. In fact, the revolver's basic design prevents them from jamming.

Faster reloads, higher dmg.

Do you think that hand cannons would serve better as secondaries or do you think they can make it as primaries
-
If they move to secondary slot, they will need to really buff the wep class. I think it will be tweaked in a way that its more balanced/useful.

I agree. Perhaps it would be more valuable in the special weapon slot as a high damage weapon that isn't restricted to short or long range, like the shotgun or sniper, respectively. By limiting their ammo as a special weapon would allow Bungie to buff their damage without upsetting the balance of the game, though I'm not sure how high it would be fair to buff their damage. Would it be fair to have the hand cannon kill in one headshot in the Crucible if it was a special weapon? If they want to keep the hand cannon as primary, I think their reliability could be reinforced with a higher reload speed and increased ammo reserve, but without compromising the reward of their challenge to use. I'd almost go as far as considering increasing their capacity, beyond six rounds. In fact I wonder if they should put the hand cannon in the special category, but replace it with a semi-automatic handgun. Perhaps even a fully automatic handgun/machine pistol. SMGs! Oh god, somebody stop me, I'm ranting! These ideas, are they even feasible at this point?
