Destiny is very MMO like if you ignore it is not "massive" and there are no "persistent worlds"...hallmarks of MMOs.

Mmo refers to the number of concurrent connects to a single server. Over 800,000 not enough for you. Your thinking of mmorpg.

Ah..so *any* shooter..as long as they use dedicated servers is considered an MMO? Well..any game period? That is a really loose definition.
