Honestly... I grew up with Playstation.
Tried out the 360 during the 'high times' of Halo 3 and CoD to play with friends online, due to a lack of knowledge of the PS3.
I moved back to Playstation after finding out about it, and now I have a PS4.
Funny thing is? The only difference I see is not the gameplay. PS players do not need to advertise their 'skills' like the Xbox community seems to, and by that I mean youtube channels everywhere. There are a few PS youtube channels with skilled players, but most don't really care.
I honestly prefer the Playstation community. That is the difference between the two. Playstation seems much more laid back, rather than having a child on the Xbox playing M rated games screaming about how they were killed was cheap and they screwed "insert famous actress here".
That community was sickening in the games. At least on forums, like here, you can find decent people.
The choice of console is yours to make. It is neither right, nor wrong.

I think the only reason people ''showed of their skills''was because it was easier to capture gameplay on the 360 than the ps3. I also feel that there are people like that on both platforms, at least thats what i noticed when my brother played ps.
