I'm not. Gearbox software definitely helped in the production of the game. With Sierra and Valve. And I don't give a shit if you judge, the original is still one of my favourite games ever.

id Software gave the source for the engine. Sierra was the publisher, Gearbox might have just provided human resources. Is it even credited anywhere in the game?
