I found this quite interesting over my morning cup of tea. His enthusiasm for his theory compels me more than anything.

Destiny’s lore is currently largely a mystery, but one fan has taken an intense look at Bungie’s designs and come up with an interesting theory.
Destiny makes repeated use of moon iconography in the form of the Traveller, the huge, dormant AI that hangs in the sky. The moon is also the source of the Hive, apparently, and as one of the four locations in the first game, we know we’ll be spending a lot of time there.
But YouTuber Killworthy Gaming thinks there’s more to it than that. In a new video called Secrets of the Tricorn, he unpacks a variety of visual design elements, in-game themes and miscellaneous Bungie ephemera to uncover what he believes to be a running theme: wolves.
Now, there are plenty of wolves to be found with even a cursory glance at Destiny – many of the best pieces of equipment have wolves on them, and the second expansion will be called House of Wolves. But according to Killworthy Gaming, the Destiny tricorn itself is a wolf face.
