• It's possible you were an ENTJ all along but tested inaccurately the first time you took it.

  • Or my personality might of changed. When I was younger I was more open to spontaneous events. Now I like to have order and a more organized life. I've read a bit about the difference between judgers and perceivers and it seems I could be both sides of the coin. Just right now I have a "moderate preference of 56%."

  • Personalities don't change in that way. While it's true you can work to develop your weaker areas to "improve yourself" so to speak, you'll always have the same preferences once you reach a certain age. In short, your personality is "set" well before you hit puberty. Apart from superficial changes, it would have been impossible for your personality to change during or after high school.

I don't have enough knowledge about the topic to argue with you but I currently don't agree with you. I think If someone's belief system is changed their personality can change with it. That's my opinion. It might be wrong to say that I "jump" from one to the other but I don't think I tested inaccurately during high school but there's always the possibility. The way I think might be similar to back then but the way I act is drastically different. Edit: I don't want to get into this and plus I have to sleep. Deuces! :)

  • I too thought my personality had "changed" during military service. In fact, the only difference was my outside behavior and some of my values had changed. My personality was only suppressed, for the moment. I've always been the same person.
I think If someone's belief system is changed their personality can change with it. That's my opinion.
Everything I'm saying is according to type theory. While it's completely within your right to disagree with what I'm saying, I'd say it's a bit arrogant on your part to admit you have limited knowledge on the subject, but still possess the discernment to know that I'm wrong. =)

  • I didn't say that you were wrong and did say I have no way to prove that. I just gave you my stance and how it conflicts with yours but I didn't disregard what you've said. I might not have read up on the topic but I can pull life experiences to back up my claims. I won't deny that I'm not arrogant though since I know how much of a dick I can be. I don't want to go deeper because this is not something I should be spending my time on. So let's back off and respect each others opinion.

  • Yes, well we all have life experiences though, don't we? That doesn't make us special.
I don't want to go deeper because this is not something I should be spending my time on. So let's back off and respect each others opinion.
I really don't have a problem respecting yours or anyone else's opinion. As I said, think what ever you want to. You're entitled. Differing viewpoints fascinate me, and I enjoy listening to diverse opinions. I truly do. But my advice is if you aren't looking for a debate in the first place, then please don't bother admitting ignorance then telling someone you disagree with them, for goodness sake. It's embarrassing to the listener and disrespectful to the speaker. Don't believe or doubt, just verify.

  • We could bicker all day but I've changed my mind and I don't want to stir up any more controversy, so we'll leave it unresolved. I just want to tell you I enjoyed this :)
