ninjadragonkllr What time will the servers be open for the public in North America and worldwide?
When it is September 9th somewhere in the world, and you have access to your very own version of Destiny, it will be time for you to create a character that will keep you company for a good, long time. Retailers will stick to time-zones. Our servers won’t know the difference. Retailers will break street date. Our servers won’t.
SO DOES THIS MEAN THAT WHEN I FINISH PRELOADING DESTINY FROM THE PSN STORE THAT I CAN START TO PLAY OR...

You can get the game at midnight your local time but the servers won't be active until 12 PST is what I read in a different article but also notice in this article that he makes mention of the servers being on 1 time so they won't go live until they hit midnight

Doubt it. It probably means when midnight rolls around September 9 in your timezone you can play, retail or digital. But what's to stop people from changing their console dates/times? I'm scared the digital PS store versions will all unlock at 12am PST (3am EST)... but I hope I'm wrong. Wish Deej would actually "verify" this and not hint around at it.

Deej already clarified... They don't manage PSN. This was my official reply from the PS forums:
Welcome to the forums Thoracis! Yes, at 12 am PST, Destiny will be playable for those that have the game. If you pre-order via PS Store, you can pre-download the game on September 7th. This way, you can literally be prepared to become legend with the full game already downloaded.
