What was your proudest moment from the Beta?
Also; what was the worst/most frustrating thing to happen to you?
I'd love to hear some of your best/worse experiences.
I'd have to say my proudest moment was soloing the Devil's Lair Strike on Hard difficulty, with no deaths.
Did you know you can shoot off the Devilwalker's missile pod? (The one that launches a salvo of glowing blue missiles)
It makes the fight considerably easier.
The moment that aggravated me the most was when I consistently did better than the rest of my team during an Iron Banner event, but was never rewarded any of the Iron Banner Legendaries.

This match in particular shows what I'm talking about, haha. (I'm Ethereal Her0)

My biggest achievement was play more than 50+ hours longest I have ever played a beta.
-
Best moment by far was having a dance party in front of a ???? Ogre with 5 other people and eventually(after many deaths from each player) killing it...yes killing it...it happened. But not by bullets, knives, melee, or supers. Gravity can be your best friend in Destiny.

I found the devil walker in old Russian. All by myself. No one else came to help. Took me about 30 minutes but I defeated it. . AND GOT NO LOOT. I was a little pissed but it was fun to do. Pretty proud of the accomplishment.

Playing the Alpha.

Um.....all of it I suppose? But if I just had to choose one for the hell of it, I would go with kicking the purple orb off the tower or getting the bunny emblem from finding enough crates on the moon (simply because I didn't see anyone else with it). Not any amazing highlights I can think of really. Did the strike on hard practically solo, had one other in there but he just ran around dying, think he got 2 kills by the end. Didn't feel super accomplished from it though as I pretty much had it down so well I could do it in my sleep (played too many runs through it I think). I was happy with my average K/D on crucible, and found tons of grimoire and ghosts so all in all I just had fun.
-
When I went 30-0 in the crucible and my fireteam and I speed ran the strike in under 10 mins.
-
Taking on The moon mission by my self on hardest difficulty I died once, and I could've beaten it without dying but I was fooling around on a vehicle and paid the price :/
-
The same as you, soloing the Devil's Lair with no deaths. Biggest let down for me was my own fault. On the moon when you open the gates of hell, or whatever their actual name is, and dying in a knife fight with the hilarious amount of Thrall that decend upon you. ... Should have brought a gun to my knife fight...

I had two crowning achievements honestly and they were fairly simple in nature, nothing crazy, but I was proud of them. The first one was acquiring a Shingen C Auto Rifle, which by most accounts was one of the better guns of the beta. The second was acquiring the emblem and Titan hip cloak from the Crucible. Both definitely added a nice visual flare that my friends thought were cool and asked me initially how I got them. I'm one of those old school MMO guys that likes to look cool.
-
Getting my first accessory for my titan was what made me happiest, lv1 uncommon sash-thing. Proudest was having dug up nothing but (good) uncommon armor for lv8, and not even in the crucible. It looked almost as good as I'd hoped. Most frustrating had to be getting the hang of PvP, finding good weapons to drag with me into the crucible and finding my flow. Turns out I'm better with a hand-cannon, shotgun, and machine gun than I was with any other primary weapon in the arenas.

Being Splattered against a Wall by Gravity
-
Negative -There was a lot of lag issues with weapons. I would shoot and it would take a couple seconds for the bullets to register as hits. Proudest - When I had 30 kills and 5 deaths in a crucible match! I was a warlock btw. :)
-
I saw a video once saying the rewards aren't always for the best-of-the-best but maybe theres a guy on the otheer team doing really well, an then an underdog on your team who should probably lose the fight to him, but instead he kills them, the algorithm is in place to reward him.

Being a badass
-
I loved discovering how awesome it was to punch someone into moon dust. I have fond memories of falling down from the sky and grinding 3 people guarding an objective into the dirt. Feels. Bad. Ass.

-
Doing the entire thing with a Handcannon, and doing even better than my friends. even in PvP
-
Least favorite: People quiting on me during Devil's Lair and missing out on the purple ball :( Most favorite: Everything else. Plus, met some great people along the way:)
-
I did more pvp than anything else, Proudest moment- 18 kill streak in pvp & capturing/neutralize the most in a single match, i'm a pvp online noob lol. But I had a big smile after that match, was getting 5-8 kills usually & would get zones but not much when I first started. Worst-Experiencing being spawn trapped the first time, Much cussing followed & I almost left the match. But I stayed :^)
-
The best time I ever had in the Beta was Staying alive in a strike without dying and runing around to heal all my team mates. The worst time I ever had was the last mission of the compain compleating it on my own.
-
Winning the iron banner cloak before I had to leave for vacation, it was badass!
-
Running a five game winning streak in the Iron Banner. God, I love my Clan. XD
