If special events start at 2:00 pm your time then i will never be able to play those because here it will be 2:30 AM. please make it 2 different times.

He said they want everyone to be involved unlike in the beta where it was a small window of time to test the servers etc. This most likely means special events will be open for something like 24 hours or more.
