I know I'm probably the outlier here, but if someone's offering a really rare exotic gun for say... 10,000 glimmer, then surely earning that glimmer (as that could understandably take quite a while..) is equivalent to the difficulty of earning the gun itself? I don't know, I'm just really disappointed. Mainly because I hoped there'd be gambling and other such stuff :P

just earn the gun? I hope there is poker and games your can bet glimmer on though. would be awesome to play little mini games with guardians in the tower.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with earning it. I'd just like a bit more interactivity between players other than "Oh look there's a guy, he'll probably lead me to some loot-dropping enemies or unintentionally do my quest for me" or fireteams :D but can you imagine like a little Red Dead Redemption style poker table, and you have like glimmer cartridges and holographic displays showing whatever gun/armour/ship/pike etc. that you're betting, would be pretty damn funky ;)

never thought about gambling. hmm you could always do that in clan. like racing and other stuff. but it would be nice to blow off some steam at a card table or somthing in game would rock so yah i like your idea

Yeah, even if it was unofficial, it would be cool to have an option to place bets on a big spectators match with other people, bit of a shame. Maybe something for a later Destiny?

yah maybe they have a turn for iron banner and it would alow you to be a spectator and watch the turnament and alow you to gamble on it. that would be sooo fnnn coool

People were farming close to or over 10k Glimmer an hour in the Beta. If those numbers stuck... Any potential economy would probably then value exotics in the high hundreds of thousands, if not over a million glimmer. Good thing we don't have to worry about it.

If you haven't read, those numbers won't be possible in the full game. Farming wise, that is. Everything was amped up during the beta so we'd have enough time to get the feel for the game and it's mechanics in a short period of time.

I don't think they have addressed the respawn rate of chests in Explore mode at all... It's just common logic that they wouldn't keep it how it was in the Beta. Which is what I said. For basically agreeing with me, starting your post with , "If you read..." Makes you seem like a douche.

Yes, and that's exactly what I was saying. I just phrased it differently than you did. I'm not meaning to be rude, I'm just angry...and this community/forum has to remember that this game is Teen, so profundity probably isn't a good idea too often (just saying, so we can protect little ears).
