as i read the iron banner question i need to add to this question and hopefully i get some help. I work overnight. I don't have as much time as id like to game. When the beta was going i was making sure id wake up in time for the iron banner because i enjoyed the "you need better gear than whose shooting at you, to win" aspect. Now my question is you say the banner will go on for longer.... will it be opened up as timed events like the beta but obviously for longer, or will it just be a permanent thing? of course my days off i have some spare time to play but having a girlfriend also gets in the way, might have to get rid of her for Destiny tbh.... thats why we have hands right? ;D but seriously will it be timed but longer or will it actually be a gametype i can go into at any time. I plan on making sure i get destiny game time every chance i get so i need to know these things :p I also work on weekends so i guess ill add to this question, will there be events that are weekends only? i have sunday nights off actually but i go to bed when i get home and then go to bed later on time but ill stay up for destiny lol and i also have monday and tuesday off, so it would be nice to not be restricted to not being able to do events like the iron banner just because i dont have time on fridays and saturdays :/ im not a little kid anymore bungie im a grown man whos out of school and working hard. I grew up playing halo as it was my first game on the xbox original so i am very excited to see whats in store with destiny and as i think about all of what i say i want to say thank you for my nerdy childhood and i look foward to a nerdy 10 years of adulthood ahead of me.

Hmm..just gotta think of a cool name for it. Eff it! Let's start a clan! Whaddya say, Cardinal? How bout you, Cudi? 3rd Watch? Night Brawlers? Midnight Legion? Knights of Vengeance? If you guys point me in the right direction, I'll freakin start one! Not real big on bein GM, but I think we work hard irl to play hard online, regardless of nagging significant others, ex-gfs/roomates hating on our skills, baby mama drama, or whatever. Bam!

I have an old Halo clan that we're currently reforming into a Destiny Clan... We're in the process of thinking of new name. XD We just doing it because we all wanna get cool loot and kick alien ass. Always have, always will.

If you like any of my name suggestions, just lemme know you want to use it, so I can scratch it off the list of possible names. I wouldn't mind joining, (still loves me some Halo), but I'd like the third shift/parent/guardian element to be well represented. For instance, I like how Dads of Destiny emphasize their core values of fatherhood, but I didn't join because it excludes some of my Xbox friends. I want my female friends, military personell, and young gamer friends to be able to join also. Right?

Like, if you need more guys for a raid or wanna go into a crucible match and kick ass then we'll be there to help. The original idea was we were passionate about creating maps on Forge world, minecraft etc... But when destiny's clan features happened we were just like "Oh, we can be actually official on Destiny? Ok let's do it!" So that's what we are. People who will play Destiny at any time we can. I mean we got a guy just leaving college this year (I think) A few bellow that and I'm just starting college the week before Destiny releases. so we're just here so that whenever we can get online to game, others should be there. So we're just here to fit around any time our clan members can be online. As far as names go I'm gonna be talking to the other founder about those later :D Personally I like the Midnight Legion. :)

"Midnight Legion" does sound pretty legit..and a group of players that play when we can works even better than just a 3rd shift only motive. So what's the next step? And how do we use the email function in this app? :/

Well the next step is just join on up and I'll be enabling the clan features again on September 9th. And I haven't a clue how to use the E-mail function on the app. My Ipad died before I found out. XD

These are all pretty good names. However, I think most will agree that a clan name should be as hard hitting as possible. For instance, "We're battling *Wrath of Dawn* tomorrow..", doesn't sound as suspenseful as, "We face off against *Phantom Armada* tomorrow.." See what I mean?
