I love the individual loot drop, what drops for you doesn't drop for your friend in co-op. No fighting to get to the loot first.

i believe you're the only one that can see the loot that drops from enemies. same with your friends they get loot but you dont see theirs.

Yea and that is nice, everyone gets consistent drops of loot.
