Can you sell stuff to the stores in game is what I want to know or just break down unwanted stuff?

yup. although we didn't really see what benefit it provided in the beta. the assumption is that you'll need items that can be obtained from dismantled gear to level up rare or exotic gear.

Hold down x on the xbox controller it will dismantle the armor or weapon. I don't know about ps3 or sp4 sorry.
