As soon as it becomes Sept 9th on Earth (i.e. Samoah in the south seas, 14hrs ahead of GMT and even further ahead of the US) you'll be able to play as long as you have a copy of the game. As most people will get their hard copies in their own territories at 12am at the earliest, the majority of us will still be waiting until out own Sept 9th. If yours gets shipped early and your time zone allows it, you might get online on the 8th. How it'll work across the various PSN and XBox stores for digital download I have no idea.
