Read the tweet about launch... So because I got the Ghost edition instead of the digital copy... I will have an up to 12 hour disadvantage compared to those who get to download the game early because they bought it digitally?
I don't usually get bothered by things but in a game like this (a persistent online universe) everyone should have access to the game at the same time... Its simply how launches for these types of games are done... Yes I know this isn't an MMO but the leveling and social system are extremely similar... Pretty bummed that I will sign on for the first time and see people at a much higher level than me...
Edit: 12 hours refers to time zone difference.

This is always the case for console games. Phantasy Star Online and Final Fantasy MMO's were the same. This isn't PC guy. We play by different rules.

I stopped following their most recent endeavors so i'm not sure how true that is for the console version but the fact is that's historically not the case for console games. I heard as long as it's sept 9th somewhere in the world the servers are up. I'm hoping for a +14 launch time meaning I can play at 2am pdt on the 8th lol

Not usually with MMO style games (persistent world, socially focused) they usually have simultaneous launches.

If you read the tweet you would understand, servers will go live at midnight NZST that's roughly 12 hours before my midnight launch (the only way to get my ghost edition) but since the servers will already have been live, everyone who pre-downloaded the game in the US will be able to play up to 12 hours before anyone else in the US...

Additionally people in my time zone will he able to play earlier because the servers will be live, thats my main complaint. I bought the Ghost edition because I am a hardcore Destiny fan, just sucks that people who pick it up cheaper digitally will have a headstart.
