Hello everyone, I'm new to the whole clan thing and I just wanted to know if someone could explain to me how the whole thing works.

You either get invited to a group, or find a clan. Click the clan, and it will bring you to the clan homepage. Click request join. Once you've joined, hit either "Set as Xbox clan" or "Set as Playstation clan." This allows you to have a clan tag and group in Destiny.
