Glass Shards were changed to Motes of Light. Let me explain.
Before the companion app updated on my phone my Vault showed Glass Shards (The ones I got in the Beta I moved to the Vault) After the app was updated on 8-22-2014 it was changed to Motes of Light.

Nice. Don't remember how I got the glass shards but don't think it was difficult.
