You do realize that Activision is only being the publisher for Bungie, even the top brass at Activision has even said that they will not interfere with how Bungie develops Destiny. Just buy a second copy, Destiny is not going to be split screen co-op as it demands too much processing power, even on the last gen consoles.

Oh my god dude, they don't do split screen any more because it robs you of the gaming experience. Split screen is done and dusted, get a second copy.
