It all boils down to Sony offered more money then xbox to get exclusives. If two company's offer you insane amounts of money to improve the game, only stipulation is to hold content for a time from their competition, you will go with who offered more money. It all comes down to playstation had more to lose so they offered more money. Xbox did the same thing with titanfall except their stipulation was to exclude playstation completely. Perhaps if xbox spent less on titanfall then they would have had a bigger budget for Destiny? Not a fact just speculation. Money makes the world go round. Don't blame Bungie. Blame either Microsoft for not bidding more, or Playstation for bidding to mich. Either way without one company getting an exclusive Bungie would have had less to spend. Which means a game that isn't what it should be.

It okay marty, I understand your furstration. Gamemakers so often now get paid for exclusive rights, content or even both. I consider myself among the lucky few as I own both an Xbox One and a PS4. We often look too much into the advertising hype of a game expecting more of a game only to be let down when we get our hands on the actual game. As for this game, I played the beta version and found it enjoyable enough to play despite some of the things that seemed promised or not yet includued in the game. To those that own xbox that feel left out, at least the content is only a timed exclusive which means xbox will have same access to content at a future date. For me I base games on are they fun for me to play and do they hold my interest. Most of the extra content to buy limited edtions does not matter to me as much of it is just vanity and as you gain levels it becomes obsolete. As far as the extra maps and missions, yes that is the lure for me to buy a certain copy of the game. I did choose the the ps4 version over the xbox one for that reason. I understand many do not have that option, so I understand the frustration. My hope is that you would still buy the game because it is something that seems enjoyable to play rather than you can get extra content. My suggestion marty is wait until after release and rent a copy or borrow a friend's copy to see if the game is fun for you. If it is not then take solice you made a good decision not to buy. If you do find it enjoyable then buy a copy or used copy after price comes down a bit. Each is entitled to their own opinion and I always respect the opinion of others wether I share the same sentiment or not. Basically, for me I make the simple choice, is it a game that I would enjoy playing. The extra missions and maps eventually will be available to all, so if I miss out on a few things or need to wait for other content others get right away, I am willing to fore go those things if I really enjoy the game.

I'm and X1 Player and I could care less about timed exclusive things. HALO 5 is coming next year and MCC... There are other things waiting for us other than some possibly low level gear and one Map... play the game Sodium Free :)

I understand that it's not fair that xbox is not getting anything. So yes I would be mad too about it but I play on sony, plus even if I did play xbox I would understand that I would have to wait a year for it. Mine you I am a big cod fan no matter what and I got the season pass what got me piss off is that I would have to wait 2 mouths to get one thing. So I am very happy that it's different for once and the best cod to me mw3,mw2 and cod 4 and waw. So I am very happy with this game and I can't wait to get my ps4. I do not think xbox is all that bad I wanted to get the one but once they give me the hole I will limited with games and team no tread in or lending games they just killed it. Ps -blam!- you give me money (angry joe show) I will give it up to xbox controller it's very nice.

I see why you are upset but really it is not a huge problem, I even play on the 360 and I wasn't even thinking destiny would be available for 360 until earlier this year... All I'm saying is be grateful that destiny is coming to xbox
