So I just learnt that in addition to Bungie restricting three full sets of armour, two weapons, three vehicles, an entire multiplayer map and an entire -blam!-ing mission (in which Destiny is in desperate need of) to a single platform, they are also locking away exclusive content in the DLC as well... this is just ridiculous and unacceptable! So, let me get this straight, if you're not playing on Playstation, not only will you not get the entirety of the game after paying full price, you won't even get the entirety of the DLC after paying full price for it either? Any chance of me purchasing Destiny has quickly evaporated.
The more I learn about Destiny, the less I care about it, and the more I learn to despise Bungie. Every single Weekly Update--including this one--is filled with damage control and/ or Deej--or Urk--trying to spin some bullshit on the 7C due to lack of features in Destiny, or to circumvent disappointment. Bungie is now very insidious, which is a far cry from what I would have said about them during the Halo era. I mean, come on, I know that you guys are gonna give me hate (again), but do you honestly not see how bullshit some of this stuff is? Hell, I'm even talking to Playstation fans, while you guys aren't being negatively affected by this as much as Xbox fans are, can you not see that some of the promises are quickly starting to form into blatant lies?
Some of you are going to pass this off as trolling because of how vocal I am about my disappointment, but I really am finding it hard to believe that I am the only one who can see this...
To everyone who is calling me an Xbot, bashing the Xbox One, telling me that I don't like Destiny because I suck at it, or are just hurling tactless insults, congratulations in being a shining example of what I have to look forward to if I ever do decide to play Destiny. The 7C is now a festering cesspit. The original members who operate under the bounds of logic and reason are in the decline or are just overshadowed by the incredible number of idiots; for every reasonable comment--in which I respect greatly--there are two moronic ones.
If you're reading this and are one of the members of the community who had a reasonable discussion with me, I thank you. You give me hope that the 7C and gaming as a whole aren't doomed.
Edit: I will not be replying from here on out. My endeavour to voice my concerns and outrage was successful from the moment that I clicked 'post'. I have no intentions of arguing with anyone in the comments section below.

I don't like reading long posts, but you sir hit every single nail there was. I share your point of view and i speak for myself on the ps4 side (former Microsoft costumer) when i say its people like you that make this community the successful place it has been(open minded and a great sight for what matters most), it is and will continue being... Thanks for the freshness after all this arguing going on around here... :) 9/9

Sometime I think if we just sit back and watch the sunset for a moment then we will all have a much clearer mind and view to certain situations that unfold in life. I try to always bring reason and understanding to my comments. I am human and have made some bad post in the past by getting emotionally tangled which is no way to be while speaking your mind. In the end I hope we can all learn something positive from everyone we encounter in our life. On here we are all one breed; We are all gamers! Not a console or a company. Let peace rain on us all.

Well thank you I'm happy to know that you as an Xbox user understand what the big picture is. I am truly sorry you guys are not getting some of the content we are and when it does come out you'll have to pay for it or maybe if your lucky just work for it in the game some how, but I have my doubts about that. I'm used to World Of Warcraft a lot of stuff that we were given was worked into the game and we could work for it to get it, but in the end it still took time to get things which we paid for by buying time to play each month. I hope you all enjoy playing the game as much as we do I really don't think that y'all will really miss the exclusives. You know what the coolest exclusive was that I seen ever was, the R2D2 Xbox that freaking thing is awesome I love how ya push the button to turn it on and it does the little R2D2 whistle sound. Microsoft has taken care of you guys in the past I never seen a Ps console that even comes close to the R2D2 xbox. I seen a couple over rent a center the other day I almost bought one just to have it, I'm a StarWars nut.

My gf wants to nail mine because I bought a ps4 and I've had my last ps3 for 3 years I thought I better get a new system because my other ps3 only lasted about a year maybe a little bit more but I played the hell out of them.

I have a broken 360 thanks to my 3yr old a system thats old as when it first came out. Now I have to put other things in front my dream of having a new system LOL so thats on a hold for me.

Lol my first daughter drowned the Xbox 360 I had with sweet tea lol. My gf didn't listen when I told her not to have drinks in cups or without lids in the living room .

LOL this made me laugh! You are right when it comes to our children everything else can be meaningless. Well she actually broke it while operating it playing her DVD's. She was just a bit too rough on the tray but she knows how to turn it on, turn on the TV and everything else. Her mom got me the xbox 360 way back then before she was in our life. LOL now her mom say not even she knows anything about the xbox and its hands off for her, but this little girl does her own thing. She only has to see it done once. Dad's with a life but love to game LOL.

I'm not hating on you, I as a Ps user actually sympathize with you on your concerns and gripes, I'd be a little upset myself if I wasn't getting the exclusives but try and look at it like this, I heard of the exclusives before I bought the game my step son tells me everything about new games coming out. You are just going to have to wait a little longer for some things being they are TIMED exclusives that will be released to the Xbox at a later date. Any exclusives that are not released to Xbox and only to the Ps platform where paid for by Sony not given to them, which means Microsoft could have asked for and paid for exclusives as well but they didn't, so looking at it that way I'd have to place the blame on Microsoft not Bungie. What I'm saying is; Bungie didn't take things out of the game and give them to Ps users and restrict you from using them, they were paid money to develop extra things and add them to the game for the Ps platform so in reality you are still getting the full game. I think in your mind since your paying the same price as we are you think your entitled to everything the Ps platform version has but what your not comprehending is that the only reason we are not paying more than you is the fact that Sony already paid for the extras for us. Xbox and Ps are two totally different platforms which means you will never see a single Ps user in the game with you so the Guns we have, armor, vehicles, and maps are things not in your version of the game at least not as of yet for some of those, you won't see nor will they be used against you in battle (PVP), and the extra pvp map/s are places never put in the game in the first place so if it wasn't for Sony paying for them for us we wouldn't have them either.

Ty and I've actually learned that you can't take someone's respect around here lightly, with all the people arguing all the time a lot of people are seeming to forget that being a little respectful will get ya a lot further with someone than typing out insults. I say some crazy stuff and try to make up some funny posts to lighten up some of the arguments but I usually end up getting thrashed for it, though I do seem to have a few people that appreciate my efforts just to have a little fun. I had a conversation with this guy the other day in which he thanked me for not jumping all over him and letting him know that he had every right to post his thoughts and opinions without being attacked. He seems to be very upset over this whole exclusives matter and I hope that he can sort everything out, buy Destiny, and have a good time in the Xbox version. Ty again and my respect to you as well see ya around.

Luckily these small exclusives will be timed, but I fully understand the disappointment in not being able to join in on the fun right away, and I won't tell you to "just buy a PS4" because that is pretty arrogant. But I will tell you this, I loved the beta with all my heart, and I played it as much as my life would allow, which was a lot considering it was summer and I am a student with just a part time job. The level cap was 8, but the allure was beyond such meaningless numbers. My other games seem so bland to me now, I can't even play battlefield without getting the urge to vomit (seriously). I know it sucks in theory, but this game is gonna be fun :)

I played with all 3 Characters and lvl 8 them all it's was fun and all I wanted to do was kiss ass and I was having a blast just exploring the game it was very nice fresh and good I had a gun I can go were I want and if something is there then I will kill it no matter if it's 20 to 1 I will kill them all lol. I and just counting the days to the game I am going the white ps4 and I also waited a hole year to get one I am so happy to be part of this awesome game thank you guys 9/9 13 more days and two more updates.

I can only get about five minutes into everything I try to play, and then it "meh, it's no Destiny" and turn on netflix.

For me, it doesn't matter. For example, borderlands 1&2-if you bought the goty edition, you get all the extra dlc. I waited and got what I wanted

However, that isn't impacting my reply one bit Everything I just said was based purely on facts and hints bungie has dropped in the past. So don't worry your head about a few exclusives ps4 get for you will get them in time.
