I think you misinterpreted that information you received. The armor PS players receive us merely starter armor, not legendary or exotic, so in all honestly nobody will care about it since it'll get thrown away after leveling up anyways. The vehicles can only be colored sparrows so that's not big deal since we can buy/find legendary/exotic sparrows as well. The multiplayer map as well as DLC is only timed, not permanent. PS just pain more to be the poster child of destiny that's business. Hell Microsoft did it with titanfall

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 8/25/2014 7:13:10 PMI fully understand the part about the cosmetic features, but I kind of can't get over that there is a whole multiplayer map and an entire mission--assets and all ready to go--just sitting on the shelf for a year while the other side is playing it. Keep in mind, I have nothing against PS players, but I'm not so down with paying full price for something while not getting the full product in return. Just to clarify with Titanfall, there is a lot of speculation and misconception surrounding it. When EA and Respawn approached Sony, asking for the PS4 specs, Sony declined, while MS gave them the specs. Source: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-04-17-sony-wanted-a-playstation-vita-version-of-titanfall In my mind, I would rather have a full product or no product at all in lieu of having what is essentially not the full product whilst still having had payed full price for said product.

But you are getting all the content, just some minor stuff you'll have to wait for.

I can understand your frustration with this but in mine, and most other's, opinion, it's not enough of a difference to take action. Now if the content was ONLY on PS and never came to Xbox at all, then that would warrant some serious concern. But the content will come out in December (supposedly I'm not entirely sure about that one) and it's not enough content to worry me. I spent hours doing only one strike mission and I'll admit I too was worried about destiny content wise, but after hearing there would be 25 strikes along with around 33 story mission ontop of exploration and the crucible, I know I'll have tons of time to put into this game. I spent hours exploring and I was surprised at just how many places that weren't on YouTube or hadn't been talked about before, and many were still blocked off at the end by doors. And that's just Earth! I can't wait to go through all the others. Still worried about progression though. To clear that up, the soft cap is 20 and the hard cap is 30. After 20 you use motes of light to increase your level. I just hope it takes forever to either hit 20, or to level up all my skills. And motes of light better be pretty damn rare.

It sounds like you gain a mote by completing a level of XP after 20. It has been suggested that perhaps the gear that you get with motes of light, is to help you get further in raid and nightfall activities. Course not exactly sure what those both contain. Then you will kick a boss' butt and get better gear to replace/accompany your mote gear from the speaker. But alas this is still merely speculation. We'll start figuring it out in less than 2 weeks:)
