You will need both copies of the game because the code for the PS3 is different from the code for the PS4. Same with the 360 and XBox One I would think. So one purchase of it on PS4 does not mean you suddenly own both versions (PS3 and PS4) of the game . Also just once again, it's not cross platform but it is cross generational. So you can go from PS3 to PS4 or PS4 to PS3 but you can't go from PS3 to 360 or PS4 to XBox One. Get it?
