So married, then yah even if you deploy overseas you should atleast attach to a parent command first. Either conus (state side) or oconus (anywhere outside continental US not in war zone) before you deployed in country. So wife would get opportunity to set up shop in base housing or on the economy.
Under these circumstances won't really matter. There are still a handful geo-bachlor billets out there, one year tours, isolated duty. Also it's the barracks for schools generally unless a school is at or over one year, usually gov won't pay to bring the wife to you.
Basically in the barracks keep it small and tight again 20 inch range. I actually dinked a couple of guys during inspections based on electronics. To big crowded the room, just didn't look tight and organized. Also you are going to have roommates so that means people in the room when your not and possible damage or theft. I have also dinked guys for doors open or not properly locked during a roving patrol and nobody inside.
Again, you shouldn't have a problem finding time to play after you get settled into the training command. I just commented on some of the problems I have seen from when I went through A school, and when I have gone back through training commands.
