What Is Everyone's First Game and System?
I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

Gameboy Advanced Pokemon Sapphire was my first game I had all to myself but I played on my dads Super Nintendo with Mario and Metroid way back when

In the 70's I has a Pachinco machine (which was a type of vertical pinball/marble game). Pong was our family's first game console, then Atari. In high school I had a Vic20, my friend had a Commodore 64.

My first system was the SEGA master system, I didnt figure out the name of it until years later, when I watched an AVGN episode. I think the first game I played was called "Space Harrier". I feel old lol

My first system and game was Super Mario Bros for NES, yet I started in the 2000's.

My first system was was gameboy then ds something I forget. then got my first console the ps2 I loved it but all my friends were on Xbox so I got a 360 and now I play on my Xbox one.
