What Is Everyone's First Game and System?
I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

Not really a game but this was my first last word and I share a special bond with it that I don't think most people have:)

Spyro on PS1 and Halo CE on Xbox. I don't remember a time without them.

NES. Super Mario Bros. 3 was my first console and game. Though I played more at friends houses before that. My first actual game that I played was the original Super Mario or Bubble Bobble I believe.

A game named Midway: 1943 for the original NES. Found the console covered in dust in my bedroom closet back in 2003. Been an avid gamer ever since.

My dad got an nes when it came it out in 85, then 20 years later I was playing it while in elementary school. I upgraded eventually but I keep that nes to this day. [spoiler]it still works![/spoiler]
