What Is Everyone's First Game and System?
I find it so interesting how strong of friendships and communal bonds can be made from playing games with friends and strangers alike. I was wondering where everyone's origins came from in terms of gaming. For me, my first game was Altered Beast on the Sega Master system. My dad picked this up for me in the 80s when I was only 4. We kicked ass together and it was pretty graphic for a 4 year old to play. Punching and kicking zombies and beasts that exploded into pieces lol It was rereleased on the Sega Genesis (which I still own). It's still a lot of fun to play today too.
So what is everyone's story here?

First system I owned was a Nintendo 64. First game I owned was Super Mario 64. Next Christmas I had a PS1 with Drive 2. Good times.

First system I played was the Sega Master System that came with Alex Kidd programed into it. First game I think was a Sonic one too long ago to remember for sure

My first video game was on playstation 2 trying to complete crash bandicoot. I swear I remember it being more fun than a lot of games. The games I liked better were the last of us, skyrim, and batman arkham city. And I have played a lot of games

Then Sega Genesis, with sonic 1,2,3 and the Original streets of rage!! so crazy seeing how some peoples first vid game was halo! lol that was super epic next gen era for us 90s gamers.
